I spent my 2019 summer at Alibaba's xixi campus in Hangzhou. I was a UX design intern at Tmall, the company's major B2C ecommerce platform and China's largest retail website. During my internship, I worked with Tmall's growth operation team to develop a user acquisition campaign proposal, which was later approved and developed to impact the app's 500 million monthly active users.

Working at Alibaba was a really unique experience. As the only undergraduate UX design intern, I was surrounded by extremely talented mentors and colleagues and learned tremendously. I wrote reflections everyday while I was there and condensed the learnings into an article.
